Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp neutral oil

Method

  1. 1Toss the beef with cornstarch and 1 tbsp soy sauce.
  2. 2Heat oil in a wok over high heat and sear the beef in batches; remove.
  3. 3Stir-fry the broccoli 3 minutes with a splash of water to steam.
  4. 4Add garlic and ginger, return the beef, and pour in the rest of the soy sauce.
  5. 5Toss until the sauce thickens and coats everything.
