Daily base + in-the-moment tools

Resilience is built on two timescales: a daily foundation that keeps your baseline low, and quick tools you can reach for the moment stress spikes. Pick one of each to start.

Your resilience routine

  • Daily: move your body, get outside, protect sleep, connect with someone.
  • Daily: a few minutes of mindfulness or slow breathing to train the off-switch.
  • In the moment: 2–3 physiological sighs or 5 slow breaths when you feel tension rise.
  • Weekly: protect boundaries — trim overcommitment and reduce stress inputs.
  • Consider adaptogens only after the foundations are in place.
